Richard Hepworth
Richard Hepworth, Director of Digital Transformation at PwC has 20 years’ experience of digital transformation of Energy Retailing Businesses.  He has worked with the both traditional and non-traditional energy retailers across Europe, developing a response to a rapidly changing market.

He leads digital transformation programs, developing new digital capabilities & operating models with a particular focus on omnichannel customer experience and advanced analytics for customer segmentation and propensity modelling.

Prior to joining PwC, Richard mainly worked for Accenture & British Gas.  Since being a consultant, he has advised a number of energy & water retailers on their business & operational strategy.  At British Gas he was responsible for pricing; customer propositions for Energy, Telco and Home Services; created the business case for its electricity market entry and helped restructure the business into segmented P&Ls.

Richard has been one of the project leaders on the recently launched PwC Disrupting Utilities project focussing on innovation in the market around connected homes.
