The 9th Conference of the Portuguese Association of Energy Economics – APEEN will be held at DEGEIT, University of Aveiro, on March 19 and 20, 2026.
The theme of this edition will be Decarbonization of the Economy: Investment, Regulation, and Social Impact.
This conference aims to explore the multiple dimensions of decarbonization in the economy, addressing the crucial role of investment, regulation, and social impact in achieving sustainable and carbon-neutral energy systems. It also aims to bring together renowned academic scientists, researchers, innovators, and business and social stakeholders in an interdisciplinary context. It provides a platform to present, share, and discuss the latest experiences, research results, innovations, and ideas related to the energy transition and a sustainable energy future.
