Energy & Climate Seminar 1 – The EU ETS in the 2020s – Status of Phase 4 reform and overlap with other policies

Jump to section

Introduction

Following December’s vote in the European Parliament Environment Committee on proposed reforms, the likely shape of Phase 4 of the EU ETS, which runs from 2021 to 2030, is now much clearer.  This seminar will look at the implications of the proposed reforms, the remaining uncertainties about the shape of the scheme, and how national actions and other EU policies may influence outcomes under the EU ETS.
