Though the UK has legislated to meet Net Zero by 2050,there remains a substantial gap between current plans and future requirements and the challenges for energy policy are formidable. In this video Dr Rob Gross Sara Vaughan, Prof Michael Grubb, Guy Newey and Chris Stark discuss the types of policies that will be needed to deliver Net Zero.  The UK’s policy proposals will be examined at the BIEE’s 2021 research conference Energy for a Net Zero Society in September ahead of COP26.
