MEMBERSHIP :
Membership of the British Institute Of Energy Economics is open to all with an interest in energy economics and policy, whether their professional activity be in business, government or academia, including those in full time education.

INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP
There are three categories of membership:  

FULL MEMBERSHIP - BIEE/IAEE
Entitles an individual to free attendance at BIEE meetings, to reduced rates at BIEE conferences and also to full membership of the International Association of Energy Economics (IAEE). The cost of full membership is £75.00 per annum.
The benefits of IAEE membership include receipt of the quarterly publication “The Energy Journal”, the quarterly “IAEE Newsletter” and the annual IAEE Membership Directory, which contains contact details for 3000 individual members worldwide (each member is entitled to his or her own free entry in its pages). Members are also entitled to discounts at IAEE conferences and have access to national affiliates worldwide, including at least 20 in Europe.
BIEE ONLY MEMBERSHIP - BIEE ONLY
Entitles an individual to free attendance at BIEE meetings and to reduced rates at BIEE conferences. The cost of BIEE only membership is £50.00 per annum.
STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
Is available to those in full time education. Student membership of the BIEE is free for the first year and £5.00 thereafter. Student membership of BIEE and IAEE is also available. The cost of Student BIEE/IAEE membership is £25.00 per annum.

HOW TO JOIN
There are 2 ways to register for individual membership:
1 ) download an application form and send it with your cheque to the Administrator(see the Contact Us page for details of where to contact the BIEE Administrator);
2) contact the Administrator and ask to be sent an application form; then return it with your payment (see the Contact Us page for details of where to contact the BIEE Administrator).

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP
Corporate membership is welcomed. It allows companies to nominate a number of employees for membership and to feature their logos on the BIEE website, according to the level of subscription. Subscription levels range from £500.00 to £3500.00 per annum. Further information about corporate membership is available from the Administration Office.
